We cultivate our organic red Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) mushrooms on Duanwood substrate, known for its rich wood content, where Reishi thrives naturally. This results in a potent, high-quality extract with abundant bioactive constituents.
There are two main types of bioactive compounds in reishi: beta-D-glucans and triterpenes. Mushrooms grown on wood substrates are rich in beta-glucans, while those grown on grain substrates tend to be rich in alpha-glucans.
Our Organic Reishi Extract Powder is sourced from the fruiting bodies of the mushrooms, known for their richness in active ingredients, especially beta-D-glucans, surpassing those found in mycelium extracts.
