Grown in the Peruvian Andes
Maca is a root vegetable that only grows at very high altitudes – between 3000 and 4000 metres above sea level – high in the Andean mountains of Peru away from environmental contaminants. The robust root battles extreme conditions and is able to withstand high winds and temperatures as low as -10°C.
Used for centuries by the indigenous people of the Andes
The Incas found maca so potent that the root was prescribed to warriors in preparation for battles to increase their strength and endurance.
Naturally high in vitamins and minerals
Maca is a nutritionally dense superfood. It is high in vitamin c, vitamin B6, iron, calcium, riboflavin and potassium.
The vitamins and minerals in this powerful Peruvian root will help boost your immune system, stimulate energy, improve fertility, balance hormones, increase libido and provide a nourishing boost.
Boosts The Immune System
Vitamin C contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and the maintenance of the normal function of the immune system as well as being an effective antioxidant.

Calcium, vitamin c, potassium and iron all contribute to the maintenance of muscle function. They help build and maintain muscle as well as assist in recovery after a workout.
Vitamin C, vitamin E, calcium, magnesium and the full spectrum of B complex vitamins in our Organic Maca Powder help balance and regulate hormones naturally.
Calcium and vitamin c helps the normal function of digestive enzymes and assists in breaking down foods. Digestive enzymes are protein molecules that catalyse the breakdown of large food molecules into smaller molecules to facilitate their absorption by the small intestine.
The minerals and vitamins in our maca root powder help to reduce tiredness and fatigue, as well as contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism which makes maca a great superfood for endurance whilst working out.
