Matcha Tea

Makes 1 glass/cup

MATCHA GREEN TEA LATTE

Ingredients:

1 tsp Organic Matcha Powder
3 tbsp warm water
300ml hot almond, soy or rice milk.

Optional:
        • Add vanilla, almond or mint flavors
        • Sweeten with honey or agave nectar

How to create:

        1. Sift 1tsp of Organic Matcha Powder into a bowl.
        2. Add the warm water and mix with a spoon or with a whisk until it is a smooth paste to ensure no lumps form.
        3. Transfer the paste into a cup or mug. Add optional sweeteners if desired.
        4. Warm the milk in a small saucepan and pour into the mug until nearly full.
        5. Use a whisk to mix the paste and milk together until smooth and light green in colour.
        6. Add a few sprinkles of matcha green tea powder on the top for decoration (Optional)

ICED MATCHA GREEN TEA LATTE

Makes 1 glass/cup

Ingredients:

1 tsp Organic Matcha Powder
3 tbsp cold filtered/purified water
300ml cold almond, soy or rice milk (we recommend almond)
Ice

Optional:
        • Add vanilla, almond or mint flavors
        • Sweeten with honey or agave nectar

How to create:

        1. Sift 1tsp Organic Matcha Powder in a bowl
        2. Add half cup fresh filtered/purified water
        3. Stir/whisk until smooth
        4. Add handful of ice
        5. Optional – add milk to blender for 15-30 seconds, or until milk is frothy
        6. Finish with (frothed) chilled milk – almond, soy or rice
        7. Add flavors with chai spice, cinnamon, vanilla or coconut
